Audio Delivery Requirements

Prepare production-ready audio

Submit final, approved masters in the exact playback order for each side of the record. Audio should be clean, clearly named, and ready for cutting without additional editing.

01

Accepted master format

WAV files are preferred. Submit uncompressed, stereo interleaved masters.

02

Resolution

Use 24-bit audio at 44.1 kHz or higher. Keep every track in the same sample rate and bit depth.

03

Do not submit

Avoid MP3, AAC, streaming downloads, clipped files, watermarked references, or unfinished mixes.

04

Track order

Separate Side A and Side B. Number every file in playback order and make the filenames match the final track list.

05

Mastering and headroom

Submit final approved masters without clipping. Do not add extra normalization, limiting, or fades unless they are intentional.

06

Documentation

Include the final track list, side assignment, exact running times, speed, catalog details, and any cutting notes.

PROGRAM LENGTH GUIDE

Recommended maximum audio time per side

Longer sides can require lower cutting levels and may reduce overall loudness, bass response, or sound quality. Use the recommended limits below when preparing your final masters.

Format Best quality & volume Recommended maximum Maximum with sound / volume impact
12" · 33 RPM LP < 18 min.per side 22 min.per side 25 min.per side
12" · 45 RPM < 12 min.per side 15 min.per side 17 min.per side
7" · 45 RPM Single < 3 min. 15 sec.per side 4 min. 30 sec.per side 5 min. 15 sec.per side
7" · 33 RPM < 4 min. 30 sec.per side 5 min. 30 sec.per side 6 min. 15 sec.per side
Audio planning note: Track sequencing, music style, low-frequency content, stereo width, and cutting requirements can affect what will fit successfully on each side. If a side approaches the maximum range, contact the production team for review before submitting final audio.

Recommended folder structure

PROJECT_NAME / AUDIO / SIDE_A / 01_TRACK_TITLE.wav PROJECT_NAME / AUDIO / SIDE_B / 01_TRACK_TITLE.wav

Use simple filenames with no special characters. Upload only the final approved versions.

Important: Side duration, groove spacing, bass content, stereo width, and playback level can affect the final cut. Follow the project limits shown in the vinyl wizard and contact the production team when a side is unusually long or demanding.
